JOE
LOCO & the Motives
Little Hills Records
Original
Release: July 1981
Re-released: September 1997
Overdub Records
"Joe
Loco & the Motives" was Carmine's first official release.
Having grown tired of playing in basements and garages, Carmine
assembled a group of musicians from the top local bands in Hillside
such as Airfair, The Razerz, Louie Louie, The Locals, and Arthur
Kill & the Pollutants. Together they recorded the backlog
of songs that Carmine had accumulated over the years.
Although
not a critical or commercial success, "Joe Loco" did
spark some interest in the "industry" and set up the
huge success of his next album, "Change
Is Gonna Come".
